We are a small organic farmstead located in Sparta, NC. Our farm is dedicated to sustainable and organic farming practices. We take pride in producing a variety of homemade products including jellies, jams, artisan breads, cakes, cookies, and other goodies. Additionally, we specialize in crafting goat milk soap and skincare products.

Meet the Perry's

Arvie and Lynn Perry are the heart and soul behind Perry Farmstead, a small organic farm nestled in the beautiful hills of Sparta, NC. After years of running local businesses with Arvie in masonry and owning CJ Hardware and Lynn owning Services Unlimited, they decided to follow their passion for organic farming. Together, they raised their four sons and one daughter, who now visit the farm, and they’re also blessed with grandchildren who love helping with the animals and farm chores.

Retired from their previous careers, Arvie and Lynn now focus on raising animals sustainably and crafting products from their farm. They make natural goat milk soaps and skincare items, and Lynn enjoys baking with natural ingredients, creating homemade breads, cakes, cookies, jams, and canned vegetables.

With a deep respect for traditional, rustic living, Lynn and Arvie aim to share their passion for farm life and offer others products made with love and care, reflecting their values of family, community, and sustainability.

Our Farm's Practices

Perry Farmstead is a small organic farmstead where we pride ourselves on sustainable farming practices and a deep connection to the land. Our farm is home to a lively and diverse family of animals, including playful goats, fluffy sheep, a range of chickens, ducks, majestic peacocks, and curious emus. While we can’t feature every animal, these wonderful creatures bring unique charm to our farm and are an integral part of our day-to-day life.

We specialize in crafting natural goat milk soaps and skincare products, using the milk from our goats, and we also bake homemade breads, cakes, cookies, and jams—all made with natural ingredients. Our farm produces canned vegetables and fruits to preserve the seasonal harvest.

As an NCDA-certified kitchen, we take great care in ensuring all of our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety, so you can enjoy the fruits of our labor with confidence.
